Welcome to
Mr. Lang's Class


U.S. History is an in-depth study of our history.  It particularly develops units from Early Exploration and the Colonial Period through the Civil War.  There is emphasis placed upon a working knowledge of the U.S. Constitution.  The goal of this year of study is to develop an appreciation and a knowledge of our country's past, coupled with a greater understanding of its present and future.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
1. Attendance:  Students are required to attend class daily and be                            on time
2. Participation: Each student is expected to actively participate
3. Daily Class Work:
    a.  All class work must be turned in neat and complete
    b.  Late work will only be accepted Quarters 1-3
        (70% maximum credit)
    c.  It is the responsibility of the student to find out what was                  missed due to absence
    d.  Missing assignments are listed on the grade printouts posted           in the classroom 
4.  Preparation:  Come to class fully prepared each and every day

HOMEWORK:
You can expect homework to be assigned during the week -
often on a daily basis

- Honesty and integrity are required...cheating and dishonesty will    not be tolerated
